As a coach, he coached in Romania Jiul Petrosani, ROVA Rosiori and few others plus the Romania National Juniors Team
Most of his coaching career was spent in the Gulf Region.
He coached top teams like Raja Casablanca(Marocco), Al-Shabab(UAE), Al-Ahli Fujairah(UAE), Al-Ain(UAE), Al-Muharraq(Bahrain), Muscat Club(Oman).

He played for two of the best Romanian football teams, Steaua Bucharest between 1971-1980 and Rapid Bucharest between 1980-1986.
The famous junior coach, Francisc Fabian brought him to Steaua 23 August in 1965 and he became one of the most talented football
player in Romanian football history, he was nicknamed “Ozonel” after the most technical player in Romanian football, Titus Ozon.
He was promoted in 1971 at just 16, to Steaua Bucharest senior team.
As a player with Steaua Bucharest he won two championships of Romania(1975 & 1978) two cups of Romania(1975 &1979).
In 1980 he left Steaua Bucharest to Rapid Bucharest, the most loved football team in Romanian football.
He became the favorite fans player and in 1983 he was able to bring Rapid Bucharest back to the first division in Romania.
He played numerous times for Romania National Teams at all levels.
